The fact that it freezes on the BIOS boot screen would seem to eliminate the hard drive as the problem, wouldn't it? It now boots but then loses the Win95 splash screen and displays a series of vertical green lines. I can't get it into safe mode or the c: Control/alt/del gets you back to the boot screen, which is frozen. I think that the video driver has become corrupted but can't get to where I can fix it.
